Main
Event
Ric
Flair vs Randy Savage
The
History between The Nature Boy Ric Flair and The Macho Man Randy Savage is
documented: This match was not for the faint at heart. The Announce table got broken, Flair nearly
broke Savages leg in a near 2 minute hold into the figure four plus added
leverage from the Enforcer Double A Arn Anderson pulling on flair’s arms for
extra leverage. Eventually the Ref had had enough and ejected Anderson from the
Ringside area. That’s when things went
bad for Flair. Macho hit a diving
axehandle from the top rope to the outside on flair, laid him out on the
announcer table, and performed successfully a diving elbow drop that nearly got
flair counted out!
Inside
the ring, Macho hit a pile driver for a near 3 count, hit his patented scoop
slam and went up top for the big elbow to get the 1,2,3!
Winner:
The Macho Man Randy Savage
Following
the match, Arn Anderson, Chris Benoit and Ric Flair attacked Macho from behind
as he was celebrating. Sting, and Hulk Hogan ran down to make the save for
Macho! It was announced on WCW.Com that
WCW Saturday Night’s Main Event would be a 6 man tag involving the Four
Horsemen and Team Hogan no additional information on the stipulations, We shall
find out this Saturday On WCW Saturday Night!
